Mercedes Benz recall 20,000 cars

20,201 Mercedes Benz A, EQA, EQB, CLA, GLB Class vehicles with a year range of 2018 to 2024 have been recalled due to an issue with the power steering.

The electrical power steering control unit back-up software may not operate as intended. In the event of a failure of the power steering control unit, this could result in a loss of power steering control.

A loss of power steering control could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.

Owners of affected vehicles can contact their most convenient Mercedes-Benz dealership to have the work carried out as soon as possible, free of charge.
