Statewide total fire ban for Sunday

Major tourist destinations in the Yarra Ranges will be closed today due to a Total Fire Ban for Sunday, 11 January.

As fires continue to rip through the state, the CFA announced the Total Fire Ban on Saturday, despite easing weather conditions.

The Memo, Healesville and Arts Centre Warburton will be closed.

Warburton Bike Park will remain closed over the entire weekend, regardless of fire danger ratings.

Keeping our community safe and supporting emergency services is our focus. Warburton Waterworld splash park will also be closed.

Please always check our socials and website for updated closure information before planning to ride.

An Emergency Relief Centre (ERC) is open for people impacted by the Longwood Fires at the Lilydale Basketball Stadium at 26 Hutchinson St Lilydale.

Members of the community wanting to donate, please visit the GIVIT Appeals website.

For the latest emergency updates please download the VicEmergency app and follow the CFA on Facebook.

Relief assistance is available for eligible people impacted by the Longford fire. For more information please visit the Department of Familites, Fairness and Housing website.

It has been declared for the whole state of Victoria.

No fires can be lit, or be allowed to remain alight, in the open air from 12.01am until 11.59pm.
