The young writers of The Empublishment Project completely packed out The Warburton Mechanics Hall for their book launch with over 120 people attending the red carpet event. Some audience members said it was ‘the best thing I’ve seen in Warburton in 15 years’, which is high praise.

The young authors eloquently answered panel questions, discussing their writing styles and journeys and then gave readings of passages of their own works. The audience were spellbound and the applause deafening when the young authors took their bow.

The Empublishment Project continues next term with WRITE CLUB – an all-welcome writing club for young people based at Yarra Junction Library Thursday afternoons.
