Emergency services searching for missing man

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man William, whose vehicle was located by police in Kinglake on Friday 30 June.

The 34-year-old was last seen in Henry Street, Hawthorn, about 4pm on Thursday, 29 June.

More than 20 local SES members from around the Yarra Ranges joined with the Victoria Police Search and Rescue Squad, the Mounted Branch, the Police Airwing and Parks Victoria in a search on Monday 3 July.

SES units that assisted included the Upper Yarra, Healesville, Lilydale, Kinglake, Marysville, Monash and Whitehorse units.

William is described as having a medium build, approximately 183cm tall with blonde hair.

It’s believed he was travelling in a Red Toyota Prius sedan, registration 1MN6MF, which was located by police on Friday, 30 June, in Kinglake-Healesville Road, Kinglake.

Investigators have released images of William in the hope someone may know of his current whereabouts.
