A radio stageplay titled The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is set to perform at the Arts Centre at 3409 Warburton Highway, Warburton on Saturday 14 May.
Beginning at 7.30pm, the show is hosted by MISFIT theatre, with tickets on sale for $15 for adults and $10 for concession. It will conclude by 10pm.
The show tells the story of Arthur Dent is plucked off the planet by his friend Ford Prefect, a researcher for the revised edition of ‘The Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’, seconds before the Earth is demolished to make way for a galactic freeway. Ford Prefect arrives after having been posing as an out of work actor for the last fifteen years.
Together the dynamic pair begin their journey through space aided by The Hitch Hiker’s Guide and a galaxy-full of fellow travellers.
Performing the first 5 parts of the Radio Epic are a group of 8 performers who will delight with their unique and entertaining portrayals of classic characters from Douglas Adams’ story.
