Thousands raised in honour of Martin Sheahan and family

A fundraiser has been started in support of Warburton man Martin Sheahan who was murdered in Warburton on Australia Day.

Monique Allen started the ‘In Loving Memory of Martin Sheahan’ gofundme last night with a goal of $20,000 and over the past 12 hours it has reached $17,820.

Ms Allen wrote on the page saying, her father Marty was widely loved and will be missed forever.

“We ask you please as a loving community to donate what ever you can in the name of Marty. He was deeply and widely loved by all and will be forever missed.

We hope you raise enough money to pay for Marty’s funeral and to help our mother Mandy financially as much as we can.

Thankyou so much Lots of love Monique, Alexander, Heath and Ben ❤️,” Ms Allen wrote.

Neighbours Harmony and Barry said, “Marty always had a smiling face when we talked over the fence. Wonderful neighbour! Sending heartfelt condolences to the family.”
