Wet weather halts works

Due to anticipated wet weather over coming days, planned works along the Black Spur have been temporarily suspended.

The Black Spur will remain open to traffic on Monday 21 December.

VicRoads have advised that linemarking will take place at night from 9pm until 5am in coming days, once the wet weather clears.

There will be a lane closure around the work area under traffic management to help vehicles continue to move in both directions.

VicRoads have also advised travellers to expect minor delays.

Crews have been patching and resurfacing damaged sections of the Spur to improve the road surface between Fernshaw Picnic Ground and the Dom Dom Saddle Picnic Ground. The works were due to be completed on Monday 21 December, however, due to the wet weather, linemarking is not yet complete.
