The Pennant season is over for Yarra Junction Bowling Club and despite a difficult start to the season, when we were sometimes unable to field a full side due to Covid problems, the 2021-22 season can be considered a successful one.

The Eagles fielded three Pennant sides and all finished the season strongly to win places in the finals. On-field success, increasing membership and enthusiasm around the club all bode well for an exciting 2022-23 season.

Yarra Junction Bowling Club singles championships have now been played and congratulations are due to Ladies’ champion Fida Rees and runner-up Elly Byrne, and to Mens’ champion Adrian Holmes and runner-up Brian Luckhurst.

This Friday (1 st April) sees the final Barefoot Bowls session for this season, and Yarra Junction Bowling Club would like to thank everyone that has joined us on Friday evenings since Christmas and made the evenings such fun.
