A cold wintry morning saw Healesville Social Golf Club (HSGC) members finish the first round of the Club Singles Championship.
Greg Urquhart defeated Mitch Hay, Chris Handasyde defeated Ken Arnott and Craig Stewart won by walk over from Earl Louw.
In the main stroke event, Chris Handasyde (6) came first with a score of 68, Karl Hradsky (17) second scoring 70, and Wayne Fenner (19) third with a score of 76.
Chris Handasyde and Tom Carroll picked up two nearest the pins each.
