Moderate snowfall to cover Mount Donna Buang this week

Mount Donna Buang will see moderate but consistent snowfall this week, starting on Wednesday 27 August.

From Wednesday through to Sunday, 29 centimetres of snowfall will coat the peaks of Mount Donna Buang.

Six centimetres will fall from 12pm Wednesday, and then another five centimetres will fall over the course of Thursday.

Friday will have the heaviest snowfall, with six centimetres falling throughout the day before 9 centimetres overnight.

Mount Donna Buang is a great place to see the snow at no cost.

Though snow chains aren’t mandatory, it is heavily recommended that visitors carry snow chains in the event they need them.
