Author Geoff Parkes to make an appearance at Yarra Junction Library

The Yarra Junction Library is hosting the established rugby writer Geoff Parkes on 21 August as he introduces his first crime fiction novel, When the Deep Dark Bush Swallows You Whole.

The event will go from 5.45pm to 6.45pm and tickets are free of cost.

Set in a small rural town in 1980s New Zealand, this atmospheric book promises a compelling mystery.

Mr Parkes will share the inspiration behind his debut and his fascinating transition from sports to fiction writing.
