Gruyere planting day to support indigenous biodiversity

Regenerating Farms is hosting a Community Planting Day dedicated to restoring indigenous biodiversity and supporting threatened species in Gruyere.

The planting day will take place on Sunday 24 August at 11 Briarty Road, Gruyere from 10am to 1pm.

Attendees can expect to help improve local biodiversity and catchment health, learn about land stewardship and local initiatives, enjoy a positive and meaningful experience with friends and family and meet like-minded locals and enjoy a light lunch.

The event is being supported by Yarra Valley ECOSS and aims to help progress the Yarra Ranges Council’s Ribbons of Green program and Yarra4Life projects.

Attendees should bring a hat, reusable cup, gloves, weather appropriate clothes and a water bottle.
