The Yarra Centre pool has reopened after a number of upgrades and maintenance works took place.
The key works completed while the pool was shut were:
Replacement of all three swimming pool liners.
Replacement of pool tiles and gutter grates.
Repairs of all pool handrails and steps.
Changes to some swimming pool features.
Complete re-painting of the pool hall, bathrooms and change areas.
Replacement of the end-of-life pool filtration system to enhance water quality.
Installation of ultraviolet water treatment disinfection systems.
Replacement of the swimming pool heating circulation system.
The Yarra Ranges Council announced the reopening in a Facebook post.
“We’re excited to welcome you back to a cleaner, safer, and more refreshed pool space.”
“Recent upgrades include new pool liners, improved filtration and heating systems, fresh paint throughout the pool hall and change areas, and other enhancements to make your visit more enjoyable.”
“Thank you for your patience while these works were completed,” the post read.
