Greyhounds gather as one to support FightMND

The Greyhound Racing industry is gathering as one and hopes to make a big splash, raising funds for Fight MND.

In support of this, Healesville Greyhounds is holding its Big Freeze Event on Sunday 8 June from 12pm.

“We have already doubled our total from last year and endeavour to keep the tally going. This is an outstanding effort by our industry. To see so many getting behind the event really makes for a positive story,” Healesville Greyhound General Manager Peter Frost said.

The line up of those taking the plunge include Greyhound Racing Victoria’s very own chief executive officer, alongside various trainers, breeders and club officials.

“Representing the Healesville Football Netball Club is Club President Toby Millman, who will be coming dressed as his favourite footballer,” Mr Frost said.

While the main event is the freezing plunge, there will be much more to enjoy as well.

“With Live music kicking off at 12.30, the day is set for a fun filled family atmosphere. I encourage everyone to attend this charity event and Help FightMND,” Mr Frost said.
