Warburton Mountain Bike Destination renamed to Warburton Bike Park

The Warburton Mountain Bike Destination was renamed to the Warburton Bike Park as the trail opening date nears.

The rebrand simplified the original name and it reflected the project’s transition from its planning and construction phase to its opening.

An article from the Ride Yarra Ranges website stated while the brand changed, the main core vision for the trail remained the same.

Riders can expect the first 30 kilometres of trails to open in mid-July 2025, which were considered to be an easy difficulty.

The first trails are ride in, ride out trails and aren’t accessible by shuttle bus.

Once complete, the network will offer over 100kms of trails, with terrain and features to suit a huge variety of riding styles and shuttles will begin.

More experienced riders will look forward to additional, more difficult trails set to open in early 2026
