Yarra Ranges very own motorcycle star Daniel Sanders extended his lead as he finished stage 3 in pole position.
He sits on top with L. Benavaides close behind with only a 32 second gap.
“It was such a frosty morning that even my undies were frozen. I powered through the day dodging ostriches, warthogs, cows, donkeys and horses. It’s pretty sketchy when you’re doing 140kmh and a herd starts charging at you on the track,” Mr Sanders said in a Facebook post.
