Elbow wrap recalled due to risk of burns

Users are urged to return the product to the store they purchased it from. (ACCC Product Safety)

A heated elbow wrap was recalled from shelves on 13 May after users reported the wrap to overheat and cause burns.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s Product Safety website stated “injuries have occurred” due to the product.

Users of the product found the wrap could overheat if positioned incorrectly or wrapped too tight around the elbow.

The wrap posed a risk of burns injuries to the skin with heat-sensitive customers facing increased risk.

Consumers are urged to stop using the product immediately and return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
