Victoria Police and SES Upper Yarra Unit will close Warburton Hwy in Yarra Junction at the cenotaph for ANZAC day services this Friday from 5.45am to 7am, and from 10am to 11.45am.
This is to ensure pedestrian safety while commemorations occur around the cenotaph and the Yarra Centre.
During the designated times there will be heavy foot-traffic in and around the area.
Drivers can detour via Yarra St off Little Yarra Rd.
Avoiding Yarra Junction between these times is preferred if possible, but traffic management and signage for alternate routes will be provided by Upper Yarra SES volunteers and police.
