Three… quick and easy Halloween costumes

The spookiest night of the year is just around the corner. As people of all ages prepare to go trick and treating, the most important part of the festivities may still be missing – the costume. Here are three quick and easy Halloween costumes to whip together this year.

1. Raygun

One of the biggest memes to come out of the 2024 Paris Olympics by far was Australia’s breakdancing competitor Raygun – for better or worse. The costume for Raygun is fairly simple, with a green tracksuit and cap with bits of gold. Break out your best breakdancing moves to complete the look.

2. Beetlejuice

With the return of the popular 80’s horror character in the sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the popularity of Michael Keaton’s iconic character has once again shot up. Break out the green hair spray, white and black face paint and breakout a suit jacket and accessorise with some quick white packing tape.

3. Pesto the penguin

Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium’s Pesto the Penguin became a global household name this year after his birth in January. Stick some quick felt eyes on a spare beanie and stick on some quick felt penguin feet to the top of your shoes for this quick costume.
