A number of Silver Reef all-terrain prams for babies and toddlers available at a variety of baby stores including Baby Bunting have been recalled.
The Reef Earth, Reef Neptune and Reef Orbit with serial number ranges VK0222005686 to VK0222006285 and VK0822013671 to VK0822014170 are subject to the recall.
The recall is due to the locking mechanism on one side of the chassis of the pram which may not engage correctly.
If the locking mechanism is not engaged correctly the stability of the pram’s handle will be reduced. If the locking mechanism disengages completely while in use, the pram may collapse, risking serious injury to babies or young children if the pram collapses while in use.
Defects have occurred.
The product was available for sale between 1 July 2022 and 31 October 2023,
Consumers should top using the pram immediately and check the serial number to see if it is recalled.
If so, contact Premium Brands to arrange for a replacement of the chassis.
