1. Jessica Fox’s slalom double-act

Originally born in France, Australian canoe slalom veteran Jessica Fox cemented her legacy as one of the greatest paddlers of all time with a stunning golden double. The 30-year-old from New South Wales defended her Olympic title in the C1 event before going on to claim her first-ever gold medal in the K1 category, solidifying her position as the undisputed queen of the sport.

2. Ariarne Titmus’ 200-metre freestyle domination

Hailing from Tasmania, 23-year-old swimming sensation Ariarne Titmus added another Olympic gold to her collection with a dominant display in the 200-metre freestyle final.
