After missing out on the ‘Pick-my-Project’ grants in 2018, Millgrove Residents Action Group (MRAG) was very fortunate that the State Government was able to allocate funding for them to create a safe walking trail along part of the Yarra River, after missing out on the ‘Pick-my-Project’ grants in 2018.

MRAG received support from Yarra Ranges Council to bring the project to realisation and Community Bank Warburton and Yarra Junction sponsored the information signs along the trail.

With an interruption due to Covid-19 the finalisation of the project took longer than anticipated and the project was delivered in April 2023.

MRAG cordially invite residents to attend the Official Opening and Name Reveal of the River Road Walking Trail in Millgrove.

When: Saturday 29 June – 11am till 12.30pm

Where: River Road at McKenzie King Bridge

What: Opening and Name Reveal of the trail

MRAG thanks sponsor Victorian State Government, Yarra Ranges Council, Community Bank of Warburton and Yarra Junction and Scratchin the Surface for building the trail.
