Oldfields Holdings has posted a recall to the product safety website for Australia for components of their guard rail brace – yellow hook horizontal brace.
The yellow hook is for use with the Oldfields 2600 series, Zippy-Scaff, and Mini Zippy-Scaff mobile scaffolding towers. The brace connects to the scaffolding structure.
The locking mechanism may not close properly on the brace, which may cause it to disengage and detach from the scaffold frame.
Consumers face a risk of serious injuries or death from falls or damage to property if the guard rail brace becomes detached.
Affected products have a serial number range 120563200 – 120731996 and were manufactured between November 2020 and May 2024, sold between December 2020 and Janary 2023.
