Another new community-accessible defibrillator has been installed in the Upper Yarra with the support of the Upper Yarra Community Enterprise.
Yarra Valley Soccer Club has welcome the new AED to the outside of their clubrooms at the Millgrove Recreation Reserve.
President of the Yarra Valley Soccer Club said they had some heart-stopping results in their first home games of the season.
“Lucky for us we have a newly installed community defib courtesy of Upper Yarra Community Enterprise and Bendigo Banks-Warburton and Yarra Junction,” he said.
“But in all seriousness, we would like to sincerely thank Upper Yarra Community Enterprise for providing this valuable life-saving equipment to our club and community for use in emergencies.”
Yarra Valley Soccer is celebrating 21 years in 2024 and their next home game is Saturday 18 May.
The defibrillator will be available for anyone to access outside the clubrooms whenever necessary and the reserve is located at 20 Moore Crescent, Millgrove.
