Breakfast Club a hit at Gladysdale Primary School

Gladysdale Primary School students were treated to a special bacon and eggs breakfast to celebrate the end of term one.

Jennifer and Glenda come every week to run a breakfast club and bake special treats at the end of each term.

Students at the school sang Jennifer’s praises.

“Breakfast club is delicious, it makes Wednesdays magical,” Vincent said.

Samson said the food is ‘so yummy and healthy’ while another Vincent said it brought joy to his Wednesday mornings.

“I’ve really enjoyed getting to know the children over the last three years, seeing how they learn and get more confident is amazing, as is the Foodbank program which provides food for Breakfast Club,” Jennifer said.

“Anyone wanting to help can simply check the Foodbank Website for a list of schools looking for helpers.”

Now the secret is out the parents may be hanging out a lot longer at drop-off time.
