In response to the official Giro Della Donna being cancelled, the Ride Time and the wider Warburton riding community are springing into action to keep the dream alive.
Gravel Social Rides on Saturday and Sunday have been organised to try and encourage riders to still come to Warby and have a good time and encourage them to support the local businesses, who are missing out, big time.
Riders are asked to be prepared to be self-sufficient as it is an informal event, though there will be some group leaders and an on-course limited feed station.
A ‘Gravel Della Donna’ will meet and depart from Thomas Avenue at the rear of the shops at 10am to do the 55km Gravel Giro loop.
There will be three groups riding at different tempos with at least two ride leaders per group.
A small donation to cover food costs will be asked for.

Finish about 1pm to 2pm with a welcome invitation for riders to party at the Alpine Hotel and spread the money around town for dinner.
On Sunday another ride will be held, departing same time, place and same group composition.
Riders will head up Brittania Creek Road, and either down Mt Bride Road – 40km or up and over Big Creek Road and down Smyth Creek Road. (Tempo and Fast groups only)
A small donation will again be asked for to cover costs.
