WHYLD stands with CFA

The WHYLD Community Group recently held a fundraising event for the Hoddles Creek Fire Brigade CFA on Saturday 19 August.

The group raised nearly 400 dollars for the brigade at the Burcher’s BBQ.

Nearly 80 dollars of the total sum of were donations and WHYLD highlighted in social media that it was excellent that the community were showing support for the unit.

Hoddles Creek has been dealt a number of blows recently with the passing of their beloved Captain Leonie Tuner and a robbery on site at the brigade which resulted in the loss of vital equipment at the volunteer run organisation.
