Ambulance Victoria paramedics will be at the ADRA Redwood Centre in Warburton to teach locals about the life-saving app GoodSAM on Thursday 1 June from 6pm to 7pm.
GoodSAM is an app that alerts people if there’s a cardiac arrest in their local area, which they may be able to get to and deliver crucial aid such as a defibrillator.
Paramedics will explain in greater detail what GoodSAM is and how it works, what the benefits are and how to register.
They will also show attendees how to use a defibrillator (AED), perform a CPR demo and allow attendees to practice their skills.
