Upper Yarra residents are to be aware of night works underway on the Warburton Highway through Seville for the next two nights.
Works commenced with little notice on Tuesday 30 May, with the Department of Transport and Planning working in the same area on the night of Wednesday 31 May and further east on Thursday 1 June.
Between the hours of 8pm and 5am tonight, motorists will be detoured right onto Monbulk-Seville Road Seville, then onto Beenak Road and Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road where they can get back onto the Warburton Highway in Woori Yallock. Local traffic can head back down the Warburton Highway towards Seville East from there. Heavy vehicles will be detoured to the Maroondah Highway in Coldstream where they can turn right onto Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road before Healesville and can get back onto the Warburton Highway in Woori Yallock or Launching Place via Dalry Road.
Between the hours of 8pm and 5am on Thursday 1 June, motorists will be detoured left onto Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road in Woori Yallock and can get back onto the Warburton Highway in Launching Place by turning right onto Dalry Road. Local traffic will be able to access the Warburton Highway and their homes via Wickhams Road and Gembrook-Launching Place Road in Launching Place respectively. Heavy vehicles will be detoured right onto Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road in Woori Yallock all the way down to Pakenham where they get onto the Princes Highway, turn left onto Main Neerim Road, left again onto Mt Baw Baw Tourist Road in Piedmont and follow Yarra Junction-Noojee Road and Little Yarra Road to Yarra Junction.
