Motorists help push possible stolen ute off road in Hoddles Creek

The Hoddles Creek Fire Brigade was called out to a potential motor vehicle accident on Gembrook-Launching Place Road in Hoddles Creek on the morning of Monday 3 April.

Some motorists had come across a ute that had hit the embankment and ended up in the middle of Gembrook-Launching Place Road, but the driver was nowhere to be seen.

Once police arrived, it was thought that this was possibly a stolen vehicle as it appears the registration plates didn’t match the car.

The brigade thanked the motorists who pushed the ute into a safer position, avoiding the potential of someone running into it as it was on a bend in the road.
