LinC calling for home grown produce donations

Local residents who are growing some food at home and might have some to spare are being asked to consider dropping some off at one of LinC’s weekly fresh food Friday programs (by 9.00am).

With the number of people in need continuing to rise, any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the locations donations can be dropped off:

Millgrove Baptist Church, 4 Cavanagh Road, Millgrove Fridays 10.00am, Contact – Elizabeth Love 0422 270 178

Yarra Junction program, Community Room, Upper Yarra Family Centre, Yarra Junction Fridays 1.00pm, Contact – LinC on 0472 644 476 (Mon, Tue, Wed or Thu)

Woori Yallock Program – Woori Yallock Presbyterian Church 1363 Healesville – Koo Wee Rup Road, Woori Yallock; Fridays 10.00am. Contact – Tony 0468 677 445.

Wandin North Program – Yarra Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church – Wandin & District Senior Citizens, 401 Warburton Highway, Wandin North. Fridays 10.00am. Contact – Harold Waldrip 5967 1272.

Mooroolbark – The Goodness Gracious Network offers food and wellbeing support for disadvantaged families in the Mooroolbark area. Please email ggnetwork50@gmail.com for details, to sponsor a family, volunteer or to register for help.
