The newly renovated and reopened Upper Yarra Reservoir Park boasts a fantastic spot for a picnic, with new toilet facilities, wide open spaces and a chance to take in the view of the near-full reservoir.
2. Yarra River through Warburton
While the current is strong and water levels high due to recent heavy rainfall, there is still plenty of safe, dry spots along the Yarra River through Warburton to stop and have a picnic.
3. Dee Road Picnic Ground
Tucked up the back of Millgrove, the Dee Road Picnic Ground provides great views of the Upper Yarra and easy access to the O’Shaughnessy Aqueduct Trail for a nice walk as well.
