Reports of a fire in Launching Place were reported on Monday 18 July.
A CFA spokesperson said 2 CFA tankers attended the scene.
“CFA crews were called to a skip bin fire on the Warburton Highway in Launching Place at 6.40pm last night,” they said.
It was under control at 6.54pm and a stop was put on it at 7.04pm.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious.
