Planned power outages this week in the Upper Yarra

Ausnet are set to cause widespread power outages across the Upper Yarr on Thursday 28 April due to pre-arranged critical maintenance work.

About 426 Warburton residents and/or businesses can expect to be without power from 9am to 5pm at the very least, while 1548 from Warburton, East Warburton, McMahons Creek and Reefton can expect to be without power from 4pm to 5pm.

Wesburn will also have a planned outage on Wednesday 27 April from 9am to 4pm which will affect 121 Ausnet customers.

Residents are advised to be prepared for the outage by preparing battery-operated devices, charging mobile phones and ensuring they can exit electric gates, doors and garages among other precautions.

Despite the annoyance of power outage, residents can make the most of the outage and have dinner out. Warburton Golf Club will still be powered, and dinner is still on from 6pm to 8pm.
