10,000 more seniors travel vouchers are being released to eligible seniors who have previously applied through the ballot.
The scheme provides vouchers to subsidise travel and tourism within Victoria. The eligible travel period for the vouchers commenced on Friday 8 April and ends on Friday 27 May. The vouchers can be used for accommodation, tours and tourism experiences.
Minister for Regional Development Mary-Anne Thomas said Victorians have embraced the travel vouchers.
“It’s terrific that more Victorians have been able to access more travel vouchers – with plenty of places in regional Victoria and the city to explore,” she said.
“The Travel Voucher Scheme has supported jobs in the tourism, hospitality and events sectors across Victoria by encouraging more people to travel.”
