Victoria Police have revealed a 57-year-old Warburton was located deceased at a Warburton property last night.
Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death at a Clarke Avenue home.
Police attended the property in response to a call that shots had been fired just after 8.30pm.
The Warburton man was located deceased at the address and a woman who was also at the property was physically uninjured.
A short time later police responded to reports of a deceased male in Wesburn and located a 57-year-old man in a toilet block at a reserve on Warburton Highway.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incidents are yet to be determined at this stage.
Detectives are not looking for anyone else in connection to the deaths and believe the parties involved were known to each other.
