Search for missing man



Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Wandin East man David Dower.

David was last seen leaving his home address in a burgundy Holden sedan on 21 August.

Police and family hold concern the 32-year-old’s welfare as he has a medical condition that requires daily medication.

Investigators have released an image of David in the hope that someone can provide information on his current whereabouts.

Police believe he is travelling in his burgundy 2002 Holden Commodore, registration 1RM7FW, and may be headed for the Lake Cobber, Whitlow, Mount Buffalo, or Bright areas.

Anyone who has seen David or has information on his current whereabouts is urged not to approach David and to contact Triple Zero (000) or Lilydale police station on 9739 2300.
