March brings more rain



Healesville copped another solid downpour of rain last month, which added to an already wet start to the year.

Local resident Alma Mitchell recorded total rainfall of 69.4mm compared to 58.0mm in March last year.

Ms Mitchell’s recording was slightly above average.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology, the average rainfall for the Healesville area in March is 64.1mm, as measured at Badgers Creek Sanctuary.
