The first community gathering for Yes to Respect will be happening on Tuesday 25th February, starting at 6.30pm at Warburton Golf Club.
Event organiser Nicole Bechard said, “This is a chance for us to get to know others in the community and to come together with the purpose of bringing out the best of relationships so that we can all live free from violence.
In November, Warburton community members and organisations banded together to promote respectful relationships and the prevention of family violence, while supporting the United Nations’ 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.
Yes to Respect hopes to their twilight march will become an annual tradition for the Warburton community as well as other events throughout the year.
