A truck transporting hay has caught fire in Healesville causing the Maroondah Highway to be blocked at 8.30am this morning.
CFA crews arrived to extinguish the blaze, while police blocked off the road.
Motorists travelling along the Maroondah Highway from Healesville were forced to detour along Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road, while those travelling from the opposite direction were forced to turn around.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area for the time being.
