Lilydale Community Library was transformed into a rollerskating rink on Thursday 11 July for some school holiday fun.
Many kids took to the wooden floors of the library entrance to get a lesson in rollerblading from the Victorian Skating Centre in Lilydale.
Kids were taught skating techniques such as how to slow down to come to a stop and how to get back up after a spill.
Some kids took to the sport quickly, while others had a helping hand from a parent.
The new owner Sriram Sudarsan Naidu provided the lesson along with other members of the Victorian Skating Centre.
