Emergency services are attending a two-car collision on Melba Highway, near the Coombe Melba Estate.
Police are currently managing traffic and although the road is open, a CFA spokesperson said that locals should monitor road conditions and consider finding an alternate route if travelling in the area.
The two cars collided shortly after 3pm, and it is believed that there are only two people involved.
A CFA spokesperson said that emergency services were working to remove one of those people from their car and that they had been assessed by Ambulance Victoria.
A tow truck is on scene, though it is unsure how long traffic management will be in place.
