There is a bushfire in the Upper Yarra Catchment that is not yet under control and is travelling in a south-easterly direction towards Reefton
The fire has crossed containment lines and firefighters have been unable to stop the spread of the fire.
This bushfire could impact Reefton by 7.00 pm tonight. Your safest option is to leave now and travel towards Warburton.
Don’t wait, leaving now is the safest option – conditions may change and get worse very quickly.
A Watch amd Act message has been issued for Cambarville, East Warburton, McMahons Creek, Reefton, Upper Yarra Dam, Warburton, though it is strongly suggested those in Reefton enact their fire plan.
