There is an out of control grass and scrub fire burning in Killara Road, Gruyere.
The CFA has issued an advice message for the area.
It said there was no threat to properties, but residents should stay informed and monitor conditions.
Smoke might be visible from nearby communities and roads.
“Grassfires can create a lot of smoke,” the message said.
It advised residents to keep the roads clear so emergency services could respond.
The next update is expected by 9.20pm tonight (Wednesday) or as the situation changes.
