Yarra Glen mechanics broken into
Yarra Glen Police are investigating a burglary at the Yarra Glen Automotive repairs.
Sergeant Richard Coulson said that sometime between 4:30pm on 11 August and 7:45am on 13 August, offenders had forced entry into the mechanics workshop in Yarra Glen.
He said that 2013 Toyota Landcuriser with registration number 1AN1PD, and a 2001 gold Coloured ford Falcon, registration number, RFN134 were stolen from the location.

Gruyere property searched
Yarra Glen police executed a search warrant at a property in Gruyere on 27 July.
At 10am, Yarra Glen Police seized three trailers and a quantity of work equipment including leaf blowers and chainsaws.
Police also seized an industrial lawn mower from the property.
Enquiries are ongoing.
Appeal for witnesses
Police are investigating after a car was hit by a falling tree in Lilydale at 11am on 10 August.
It is believed the maroon Holden Commodore sedan was driving west on Warburton Highway when a tree fell across the roadway and onto the car about 11am.
The 33-year-old male driver and sole occupant of the car, from Wandin North, died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined.

Mooroolbark burglaries
Police are seeking information into a spate of burglaries that have taken place in Mooroolbark.
Three houses have been broken into in the last few weeks and police believed the brugalaries are related as the same tool has been use to force entry at each address.
Between 25 July and 1 August a residential address along Wyuna Walk was broken into. It is believed that an unspecified amount of cash was taken and some jewellery.
The two other houses; one located on Woodville Road and the other on Manchester Road were broken into between 4 and 6 August.

Healesville BP broken into
Yarra Ranges CIU detectives are investigating a burglary at the BP service station in Healesville.
Thieves smashed the Maroondah Highway petrol station’s front window just after 3am on Friday 3 August.
They stole a quantity of cigarettes and cash and left the scene in a light grey Ford Territory station wagon.
It was last seen travelling north on Crowley Road.

Search for buggy bandits
Joyriders drove into the night on a distinctive golf buggy pinched from Warburton Golf Course.
Warburton Police are investigating after the owner of the green buggy with a cream roof reported it stolen from the gravel car park at the front of the Dammans Road course.
The buggy is worth about $5000 and it went missing between 10pm on Friday 10 August and 2am on Saturday 11 August.
Police believe youths might have taken it for a joyride and dumped it nearby.
He urged anyone with information that could lead to an arrest or the buggy’s return to call Warburton Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
