It’s fashion fun at its best, and for the past 16 years it’s raised multiple thousands of dollars for a great cause – Cord Blood Research.
The Inner Wheel Club of Wandin’s Annual Fashion Parade is on again at the Wandin Hall on Friday night, 28 April.
Affiliated with the Rotary Club of Wandin, The Inner Wheel Club ladies enlist the help of Jenny’s Shoppe in Monbulk each year to present a spectacular and professional fashion parade of clothing from size 8 through to 20 in sportswear, day and evening wear.
Models, Maree Budweg and Nola Sharp had a pre-parade look over the outfits last week along with Shirlene Bisschop, owner of Jenny’s and Master of Ceremony for the event.
Nola, president of Inner Wheel, said people were in for a fashion treat with a great range of beautiful outfits presented on a traditional catwalk.
There will be raffles and prizes on the night, along with a sumptuous supper.
“This parade has become an institution for many women who look forward to a night of fashion fun for a great cause,” Nola said.
“The really excellent thing about this is that every cent raised goes to Cord Blood Research.
“We get very excited about passing on the money that the Wandin and surrounding communities make possible by supporting us so well.”
Tickets are $15 and include supper.
