IN THE course of this campaign I have been questioned about whether I live in the Eildon electorate. Let me set the record straight.
I want to make it very clear to all voters in the Eildon electorate that I live in Glenburn, and have done so for more than the past two years. I was raised in Yea, and my family has lived in the area for five generations.
As soon as I was elected as the Member for Seymour in 2010, I set about establishing my permanent residence in the electorate. I made the commitment to move back into the electorate and I built on family land and live there.
Politics can be a dirty game, particularly when opponents and their campaign team stoop to the depths of making false and ridiculous claims.
I am not in the game of playing gutter politics but I will not stand by and allow false accusations to be made against me.
