BE SCARED… be very scared!
MISFIT Theatre is spooking up for a night of performance and participation in its first public event, A Misfit’d Halloween.
Centred around a comedy/horror performance with singing and dancing to engage the musical side of MISFIT, the story follows five teenagers as their car breaks down in the middle of nowhere leading them on a night of adventure that only one will remember. Spooky!
Based on horror stereotypes, members of MISFIT Theatre have created a fun up beat show where audience participation is encouraged and an assortment of activities and games in the Halloween spirit will draw the audience in.
Try photobooth, a costume competition, face painting and strategy games such as wink murder, All hallows eve, nine squares and the ghost is walking. Spooky!
A Misfit’d Halloween is a new and experimental endeavour for MISFIT Theatre that started with a Halloween workshop in January and has evolved to what promises to be a fun night of theatre where everyone has a role to play.
Everyone, that is, except kids under eight – not recommended due to sexual references!
Performances are on Thursday 31 October and Friday 1 November at 7.30pm at the Upper Yarra Arts Centre, Warburton.
Tickets are $15 and can be booked online or phone 1300 368 333.
