Healesville has it in the bag

THE Eastern District Section 6 Grand Final was finally played after delays due to wet weather and the long-weekend, with Healesville coming away with a senior and junior premiership.
In the Section 6 match Christine Dell, between duties as a technical official of the Commonwealth games badminton competition, moving house and evening practice sessions, with team mates Peter Brown and Wal and Teresa Blackmar, convincingly defeated Box Hill.
In the Junior Section 16 Mixed grand final, Richard Garney, Luke Pettit, Paul Teijeiro, Bec Greengill and Lauren Hart also came away with a flag.
