The 8th Annual Calendar Competition and Exhibition for the Warburton and Yarra Junction Community Bank branches is now on display at the Warburton Arts Centre.
This year 88 photographic entries submitted by people from our local community, based on the theme, ‘Upper Yarra – My Place, My Community’ and will be on display until 3 September.
Twelve of these photographs will be chosen to make up the annual community calendar.
One highlight of the exhibition is that people can go and vote for their People’s Choice photograph.
Each year there is a Judges’ Choice and Under 18 Judges’ Choice.
This year’s judges include Ross Coulter and Gathoni Howard, who have already spent time looking at each of the photos submitted.
Votes can be cast at the Arts Centre or online at http://upperyarra.net.au/photo-contest2/#pg-image-1 until 18 August.
